Symptoms of Cancer

Symptoms of cancer vary depending upon the type of cancer. Overall, symptoms may include:

1. General lethargy and feeling of unwellness
2. Palpable tumours - breast cancers
3. Blood in the stools - cancers of stomach, colon and rectum
4. Change in normal physical function - urinary retention in prostate cancer, difficulty in swallowing in cancer of the oesophagus.
5. Chage in normal physical appearance - changes in mole color in melanomas [skin cancer]
6. Pain - typical of stomach, pancreatic and liver cancers

Tumors

Tumors vary in the speed of growth, depending upon their location and the primary type of cancer.
